We collect the following, all in order to provide the app’s functionality:

• Account & contact information — your name, email address, and phone number, used to sign you in and associate you with your organization’s inspections.
• Inspection content you create — photos you capture, voice notes (audio) you dictate, written notes, and the inspection and project records you work with.
• Messages — the contents of messages you send to other users within the app.
• Precise location — captured only when you choose to check in on site during an inspection, to verify the inspection took place at the project address. This requires your permission and is not collected in the background.
• Identifiers — your account/user ID, used to associate your data with your account.

We use the information solely to operate and support the service — to authenticate you, display and sync your inspections and projects, enable on-site verification, allow messaging, generate reports, keep the service secure, and provide customer support. In other words, everything we collect is used for app functionality.

• We do not use your data for advertising.
• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not share your data with data brokers.

We share information only with service providers that host and run PlanX on our behalf, under agreements that require them to protect your data and use it only to provide their services to us:

• Supabase — provides our database, authentication, and file storage. Supabase acts as our data processor under its Data Processing Agreement.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.

The app requests access to your camera, microphone, and location only to support an active inspection — to photograph site conditions, dictate voice notes, and verify on-site arrival. Each is optional, is used only during an inspection, and can be controlled in your device settings.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with our providers using industry-standard safeguards. Any data cached on your device for offline use is cleared when you sign out.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Because accounts are managed by your organization, some requests may be directed to your organization’s administrator. Contact us using the details below and we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

PlanX is a professional tool intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
